THHBH02A: Clean premises and equipment

This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to carry out general cleaning duties within a range of tourism and hospitality enterprises. This unit equates to unit THHGHS02A Clean Premises and Equipment.

Dry and wet areas may include but are not limited to:
  • bathrooms
  • bedrooms
  • balconies
    • private lounge areas
    • public areas (both internal and external)
    Chemicals may include but are not limited to:
  • disinfectants
  • pesticides
    • cleaning agents

    Critical Aspects of Assessment

    Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of cleaning staff to the overall quality of service provided by the enterprise, ability to safely and efficiently use relevant equipment and cleaning agents in accordance with acceptable enterprise timeframes.
