hospitality and tourism contexts. This unit equates to the unit THHBFO05A
Process Financial Transactions. Systems may be manual or
computerised.
Transactions may include but are not limited to:
- credit cards
- EFTPOS
- advanced payments
- company charges
- travellers cheques
- cheques
- deposits
- vouchers
- refunds
- foreign currency
Critical aspects of assessment
Demonstrate the ability to consistently
conduct accurate and secure financial transactions within accepted enterprise
timeframes. Demonstrate a knowledge of basic cash handling principles and
security procedures.
