Sandwich fillings
Fillings add interest, flavour and
texture to breads. There are many types of fillings that are suitable for
sandwiches. It is important that the filling is moist, not wet or the
sandwich will become soggy. It should not be dry or the sandwich will be
unpalatable.
A spread should be used before adding the
filling. This will help to prevent the filling soaking into the bread and will
also add flavour to the filling.
