Feedback
For effective communication between two
people, both the speaker and the listener must share and understand the same
information. To ensure this is happening, both must give each other plenty of
feedback (ie letting the speaker know you are hearing the
message).
When speaking on the telephone, always
repeat to the speaker any names, numbers and other key information. This allows
any errors to be corrected, and lets both speaker and listener know they have
the correct information.
