This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to access, increase and update knowledge of the hospitality industry. This includes different industry sectors and relevant industry legislation.

Critical aspects of assessment

A broad knowledge of the hospitality industry plus a more detailed knowledge of the issues that relate to a specific sector or workplace is needed. The specific focus of this unit will depend upon the industry sector.
