Range of evidence
The evidence should include a variety of,
but is not limited to the following documents:
- Job description or duty statement
- References,
letters of thanks from
customers
- Awards
or prizes
obtained
- Qualifications
- Journals
or logbooks signed and dated by the
supervisor
- Supervisor’s
reports, appraisals or performance
evaluations
- Peer
or self assessments from the
workplace
- Menu
with photographs and brief annotations, food orders, equipment requisitions,
booking details recording client requests for functions/events, budget
details
- Memos
to other personnel or department relating to the organisation of a function or
event
- Staff
rosters and work activity
schedules
- Attendance
at training programs or seminars and who conducted
them
- Participation
of committees e.g. Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Warden or First Aid
Officer
- Samples
of training programs completed or that you have written and/or delivered at the
workplace.
References included to detail practical
experience or demonstration of knowledge and skills should clearly stipulate the
following information where possible:
- The position in which you
have been employed, specific duties
- Skills and tasks
demonstrated and observed by
referees
- Level of
responsibility for the position
held
- Type of
employment( full-time, part-time or casual) and the length of time
employed
- Contact
details for referees and persons issuing
references.
