This unit deals with the skills and
knowledge required to follow the key hygiene procedures which apply in many
sectors of the hospitality industry, and within some tourism sectors. It is
particularly relevant to the Kitchen, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and some
Tour Operations.
Hygiene procedures may be related
to:
- food
- beverage
- linen
- handling
of
garbage
- cleaning
procedures
- personal
activities on-the-job.
