Case study 4 – A cold case
Short answer question:
An employee has spent the whole morning continually sneezing and coughing
very loudly and protesting that he is fine, despite a pile of used tissues
on his desk.
Fellow workers have suggested that he may be sick with a severe cold and should
go home. However, the sick worker speaks with his supervisor who allows him
to stay at work.
This is obviously an OH&S issue. Explain why.
