End-uses for appliqué

Traditional uses for appliqué include: crusaders’ banners and cloaks decorated with appliquéd motifs, decorated umbrellas, saris, household linen, lamp shades, bags, wall hangings, bedcovers, pillow covers, table cloths.

Modern uses for appliqué extend throughout the home furnishings range, e.g. cushion covers, bedspreads and doona covers, tablecloths, also applique is used in apparel ranges including formal and day wear ranges for both males and females, e.g. reverse appliqué T-shirts and jean patches.
