Personal choice and growth: sample speaking activities

Speak for approximately three minutes in Spanish on the following statements. In the HSC, you are required to choose one out of two questions.

You will be assessed on how well you:

present and support a point of view
demonstrate clarity of expression (pronunciation, intonation, stress)
demonstrate accuracy and variety of vocabulary and sentence structures.
1. La mentira nunca se justifica. ¿Qué opinas?
  Lying is never justified. What do you think?
2. Ser adulto significa poder valerse por sí mismo. ¿Qué opinas?
  Growing up means being able to stand on your own two feet. What do you think?
