What is this competition about?
This competition chooses the “Youth of the Year” based on outstanding efforts and behaviour throughout the last twelve months.
How did Lourdes become involved in this competition?
Lourdes became involved in the competition because she saved her uncle’s life when he fell down a ladder. She ran eight kilometres to telephone for an ambulance. According to the doctor, had she arrived five minutes later her uncle would not have survived.
What is your impression of Lourdes based on what you have heard?
Lourdes is a typical teenage girl. She likes the same things as other girls her age.
What is Lourdes planning for her future and how is she going to achieve her plans?
Lourdes would like to be an engineer and so will need to do further study. If she does not pass her exams, then she would like to be a tour guide in Pamplona where she lives.
How does Enrique spend his free time?
Enrique does all the shopping and all the housework. In his spare time he likes to ride his bike and play basketball and soccer.
What would Enrique like to do in the future?
Enrique would like to learn how to ski and he would also like to be a computer programmer, providing that he does well in his studies.
