This unit describes the skills and foundation knowledge required to provide assistance to audio-visual technicians. As such it requires an introductory knowledge of the main types of vision systems and the procedures for tasks such as cabling and positioning of equipment. Trainees or junior staff members undertake this role under the supervision of technicians.
