   He showed interest when he was in his final year at university. He and his brother entered a short film competition and won. He then attended a film course at the University of Melbourne. While doing his internship, he made short films in his spare time.

   His greatest success was the making of the Mad Max films as well as Babe, Lorenzo’s Oil and The Witches of Eastwick.

   It was the biggest Australian production, involving more than 300 animation specialists and it broke box office records. He also won his fourth Oscar.
