Informative or descriptive

Task 1

Write a diary entry recounting a day you spent shopping while on holiday recently in Seoul. Talk about where you shopped, how you got there, what you bought, where you had lunch, what you ate etc.

Task 2

You have chosen to go on exchange to Korea for twelve months. After spending a month with your host family, you write to your friend in Australia describing your impressions of life in Korea.

Task 3

You are about to return to Australia after a year on exchange in Korea. Prepare a farewell speech to give to your class. Mention your favourite experience(s), as well as some of the similarities and differences between the two countries.

Task 4

Imagine you are Grace, a Korean who was born in Australia. You have just spent two months visiting your relatives and going to school in Korea. Write a letter in Korean to your best friend in Australia talking about your experiences.
