Part A (informative, descriptive)

Task 1

Task 1

You have been asked to speak at an Australia-Japan Friendship Society meeting.

Write a speech comparing and contrasting leisure activities of Japanese and Australian teenagers.

Task 2

You are on a six months' exchange to Japan. Your school newspaper published an article entitled "The Four Seasons of Japan".

The editor has asked you to write an article about the Australian lifestyle and how it is influenced by the weather or seasonal changes.

Task 3

Write a letter to your Japanese penfriend trying to persuade him or her to visit you in Australia for two weeks over the summer vacation.
