Sample Answer: Because she lives alone in Akita, Haruko is sometimes lonely for her family but these times are outnumbered by the fun that she has and the convenience of living about 20 minutes from uni.
She seems to enjoy the freedom of uni life, in that she sometimes doesn’t go to lectures because she sleeps in. She makes her own dinners and studies for about 2 hours per night. This is not a great deal of study and reinforces the idea that she is doing a lot of activities apart from study, such as practising tennis after lectures on a Wednesday and enjoying the exercise.
Altogether, Haruko is enjoying uni life with the only negative being occasional homesickness.

Sample Answer: Haruko currently works at the reception desk of a big hotel. Her smile is widely regarded as a great asset and she is suited to this kind of work. The job of front desk reception is very people-oriented, and has a lot in common with a flight attendant. Thus, if she is highly suited to hotel reception work, she would probably also be a very good flight attendant in terms of people skills.
She is also accustomed to an independent lifestyle, which is essential in a flight attendant, as she lives alone and appears to enjoy her free time. She is studying Chinese: languages are another asset in a flight attendant.
Based on the evidence in this passage, I think that Haruko would be a good flight attendant as she has good communication skills, another language and is quite independent.
