Sample task 1
This is a Part A task. (4 marks)
You would like to invite the Japanese exchange student at your school to your birthday party. Write him/her an invitation. Write approximately 100ji in Japanese.
The following is taken from the NSW Board of Studies Japanese Beginners 2008 HSC Specimen Examination Package.
In your answers you will be assessed on how well you:
- demonstrate relevance of ideas, information or opinions
- write texts appropriate to context, purpose and audience
- sequence and structure information and ideas
- demonstrate control of a range of vocabulary and language structures, and of the conventions of the writing system.
