Introduction - The Commonwealth Bank case study

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia takes the protection of customers, their information and transaction seriously. It has implemented system security controls, encryption of sensitive data and a five minute time out on NetBank to avoid anyone else accessing customer banking details.

One such security technique for consideration is the 128 bit encryption (the encoding of data) using cryptography of all customer data sent between your computer and the BCA systems.
