Mission statement

A mission statement is a written statement of purpose that can be used to initiate, evaluate, and refine all life activities. It serves as a road map, guiding you to successful life and career decisions and interaction with others.

Businesses have long recognised the need to have mission statements, and many put this powerful tool into action, especially those sincerely attempting to provide quality services and goods.

Three Elements of a Good Mission Statement

There are three simple elements to a good mission statement:

A mission statement should be no longer than a single sentence.
It should be easily understood by a twelve-year-old.
It can be recited by memory even under stress. Also, a good mission statement is inspiring, exciting, clear, true, and engaging.
