Careers in Information Technology
People with skills and experience in
Information Technology have opportunities for employment in many industry
sectors. People seeking opportunities in Information Technology should be
aware that most employers rank the ‘soft’ skills such as
communication, an understanding of the workplace, and ability to work in teams
as highly as technical skills. This is reflected in the Units of Competence in
all qualifications within the Information Technology Training Package
(ICA99).
