Activity 1
Anda bekerja sebagai wartawan untuk majalah remaja dan Anda sudah mewawancarai seorang remaja dari desa yang sedang belajar di kota besar. Tulislah naskah wawancara Anda yang menjelaskan untung-ruginya kehidupan di kota.
You work as a journalist for a teenage magazine and you have interviewed a youth who comes from a rural community and who is currently studying in the city. Write the script of the interview, in which you explore the youth’s positive and negative impressions of city life.
Activity 2
Anda diminta berpidato dalam acara Hari Keluarga di kampung Anda. Pidato Anda berjudul ‘Arti Lebaran untuk Remaja Indonesia jaman sekarang’. Tulislah naskah pidato Anda.
You have been asked to deliver a speech for Family Day in your village. The title of your speech is ‘The meaning of Lebaran for Indonesian teenagers nowadays’. Write the script of your speech.
Activity 3
Anda baru kembali dari program pertukaran siswa di Indonesia. Anda
menulis surat kepada orang tua angkat Anda di Indonesia untuk
membujuk mereka agar belajar menggunakan komputer supaya bisa
menulis surat elektronik dengan Anda. Tulislah surat itu.
You have just returned from exchange program in Indonesia. You write
to your host parents in Indonesia to persuade them to learn
to use the computer so you can exchange email. Write the letter.
