Listening and Responding
A mark allocation has been given for each question. This,
in combination with the number of lines given in the relevant
space in the HSC answer booklet, indicates the amount of
detail required in your answers. Sometimes there is more
detail in the sample answer than would be required to gain
full marks in an exam. Make sure you are familiar with the
meanings of the terms used in the HSC
Glossary of Key Words 
as these have been used in
the questions.
In your answers you will be assessed on how well you demonstrate your capacity to:
- understand general and specific aspects of spoken texts by identifying and analysing information
- convey the information accurately and appropriately
