Writing activities
In your answers you will be assessed on how well you demonstrate:
- relevance of the treatment of ideas, information or opinions
- accuracy of vocabulary and sentence structures
- variety of vocabulary and sentence structures
- capacity to structure and sequence responses.
Activity 1 (5 marks)
Imagine that you are an exchange student in Indonesia. Write an email to a friend in your Indonesian class, persuading him or her to join the exchange program. Write 50 – 100 words in Indonesian.
Activity 2 (5 marks)
When you were on holiday in Indonesia, your bag was stolen and you have just reported the incident to the police. Write a notice of 50 – 100 words in Indonesian to be displayed on the community noticeboard, describing the bag and how you can be contacted.
Activity 3 (10 marks)
Write a script of an interview between you and your teacher about your experience staying with an Indonesian family. Write 150 – 200 words in Indonesian.
