Writing activities
In your answers you will be assessed on how well you demonstrate:
- relevance of the treatment of ideas, information or opinions
- accuracy of vocabulary and sentence structures
- variety of vocabulary and sentence structures
- capacity to structure and sequence responses.
Activity 1 (5 marks)
Write a postcard to an Indonesian friend describing a special event you have just attended in Indonesia Write 50 – 100 words in Indonesian.
Activity 2 (5 marks)
You are the head of the Indonesian club in your school. You are going to organise a cultural night at school. Write a notice of 50 – 100 words in Indonesian to be published in the school newsletter promoting the event.
Activity 3 (10 marks)
Imagine that you are living with a Muslim family during Ramadan. Write a diary entry of 150-200 words in Indonesian reflecting on your experiences and impressions.
