The marketing mix is a set of controllable marketing tools that a business mixes, or blends together, to try and increase demand for their product. The many tools, or possibilities, can be divided into four groups, often referred to as the 'four Ps ' - Product, Place, Price and Promotion.

Marketing is all about getting the right product to the right place at the right time, at the right price, using the right promotion to attract customers who will purchase your products and services.
It is important for an establishment to identify its target market before attempting to blend marketing tools to create a marketing mix.
