Receiving Goods

Strict receiving practices will deter unethical suppliers who may try to cheat your business by under supplying goods or supplying goods of substandard quality.

You will need to physically inspect, count, weigh goods and check documentation.

Collect documentation, Check delivery documentation Documentation Purchase Order
Check items against delivery docket or invoice and for quality Invoice
Credit Note Delivery Docket Goods-Inward Sheet Goods-Inward Sheet Receiver's Report Sign supplier's invoice/delivery docket, dispatch goods to stores, complete paper-work
