1. You have an unusual hobby. Your French correspondent has asked you to give more details about it.
   Write a letter to her/him describing your hobby, including when and where you pursue it, and how you became interested in it.

2. As your contribution to a French students' magazine you write an article about some of the most popular sports in Australia.

Part B

Write in French (100 -150 words) on ONE of the following topics:

1. Your friend is very interested in taking up a sport that involves risk.
   Write to her/him explaining why you think it is/isn't a good idea to pursue this interest.
   
   OR
   
   
2. A new advertising campaign is raising the issue of poor nutritional habits and lack of fitness among young people.
   Write your opinion about the matter for a youth forum site on the Internet.
