People, places and community: sample writing activities

Sample activity 1 This is a Part A type question. (4 marks)

Write a postcard to your French teacher about a French person whom you recently met in Australia.

Write approximately 50 words in FRENCH.

Write a script of a talk about a French experience/event that you have participated in, such as an excursion, cooking event, festival etc.

Write approximately 75 words in FRENCH.

Sample activity 3 This is a Part B type question. (10 marks)

Write a letter to your penfriend explaining why you enjoy French language and culture.
