NSW Food Authority

Policy and legislation is an important topic in the core strand, The Australian food industry. All sectors of the Australian food industry must comply with food safety regulations. In NSW food legislation is enforced by the NSW Food Authority. The NSW Food Authority was established in April 2004. It was formed by merging SafeFood NSW with the food regulatory activities of NSW Health.
