Melbourne Theatre Company Education Program

Background Files are resource kits based on selected plays that are useful for teacher and student reference. The information contained in each file varies although they usually contain information about the playwright and what influenced their work, the period in which the play is set, and articles that explore issues and themes raised by the text. Some files also contain information specific to MTC productions and may include interviews with directors and designers as well as set design and costume drawings.
