Introduction to the Advanced Course

Electives in the English (Advanced) Course must be considered in the context of the module descriptions, course objectives, content and outcomes. (Reread English Stage 6 Syllabus Selecting this link will take you to an external site., pp 51-56)

 

Students must study each of the modules:

 

Module A: Comparative Study of Texts and Context

· Elective 1: Transformations

· Elective 2: In the Wild

 

Module B: Critical Study of Texts

Module C: Representation and Text

· Elective 1: Telling the Truth

· Elective 2: Powerplay

· Elective 3: History and Memory

 

Students must also complete the Area of Study (common for Advanced and Standard courses) section.
