Design and Technology Major Design Project project proposal and project management questions
- What is the best way to set out a timeline and finance plan? Also how detailed
do they have to be? For the finance plan, do I have to include how much certain
things would cost even though I got them for free, such as photocopying?

- A student of mine in developing her MDP has worked out that she will probably
only be able to develop a prototype project. It is an industrial design project
which was initially going to be developed for mass production but due to
unavailablity of ideal machine parts the project will likely only be a basic
working model. Will this be acceptable to submit as her major project?

any different requirements needed to complete a folio on a systems project?

- What do I do if one or more of the sections in the marking criteria are
difficult to provide information for, for the type of project I am doing?
For example, aesthetics is really not a key feature of my project and it
would not be worth my while putting effort into making my project look good.
I am more interested in refining its function.
