In the Design and technology HSC course you will learn about factors affecting design. You will need to apply your understanding of these factors to the development of your major design project. One of those factors affecting design is safety. This tutorial provides an overview of the current safety legislation in NSW.

The Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act
1998 focuses on the management, prevention and administration
of workplace injuries. The emphasis is on a safe, timely and
