BCGCM2006B Apply basic levelling procedures
This unit specifies the competency required to carry out levelling on a single plane for the purpose of establishing correct and accurate set out of a building’s components.
It includes the set up, testing and use of levelling devices and establishing and transferring of heights using a range of levelling equipment.
Before undertaking this module you should already know something about:
- OH&S requirements relating to construction work
- work method statements
- job safety analysis
- construction terminology
- reading and interpreting plans
- using a calculator to do addition and subtraction
- basic measuring and marking.
