Education and work: sample answers for listening activities
As marks have not been allocated to the questions, the sample answers are given as a guide only. In the HSC Examination, there will be a mark next to each question to indicate the scope and depth required in the response.
Item 1
The girl’s favourite subject is Maths. The boy’s is Physical Education.
Item 2
The school is average (in size) with over six hundred students. It has five buildings and three computer rooms. The speaker goes to play computer games and send emails to friends after school.
Item 3
The doctor suggests Lily rest as she has a headache, a sore throat and a bit of a cough. The doctor says she has the flu.
