Identifying the needs of specific groups in the community

It is important to understand the feelings, issues and experiences of each group in order to establish the needs of each group and identify factors influencing access to resources. Efforts can then be made to assist group members to access resources so that they can meet their needs. For some groups there are a number factors impacting on their ability to access resources, this in turn impacts on their ability to meet their needs and achieve wellbeing.
