| Confidentiality | Maintaining privacy and/or security of information. |
| Dot matrix | A basic printer that can produce text or graphics in the form of a matrix of small dots. |
| Flatbed scanner | An electronic image-capturing device, allowing the image to be imported into various software packages. |
| HTML | Hypertext Markup Language, or HTML, is a system of marking or tagging text so that it is able to be displayed by browsers for the World Wide Web. |
| Hyperlink | A graphic or portion of text that links to another web page/web site, another document or another part of the same page. These hyperlinks are usually in a different colour or underlined or both. |
| Laser printer | A printer that utilises a laser beam to produce an image on a drum. These printers produce very high quality copy compared to dot matrix. |
