Australian Development Scholarships
Scholarships are available for a broad range of courses at all universities. There's no way you'll get one if you don't apply, so start hunting down the relevant information. When you contact a University, ask to speak to their foundations officer or scholarships officer. They'll be able help you out.
Centrelink
Centerlink has heaps of information about assistance schemes, community programs and the latest updates on government policy that directly impact young Australians. A big site, but well worth checking it out!
Centrelink - Abstudy
If you are an Indigenous Australian then you'll definitely need to visit this sites. It gives you a brief run down on the basics of the scheme and how to get more information. Be sure to check out the Abstudy Guide where you can download parts or the whole booklet and get all the information you'll ever need.
Centerlink - Austudy
If you're over 25 and thinking of studying, the government can offer you Austudy. There are some changes to the old scheme so it's well worth getting the latest info from this site.
Centerlink - Youth Allowance
If you're a student and you're under 25, the government has replaced Austudy with Youth Allowance. You get all sorts of benefits including rent assistance, living away from home allowance, interest free loans and much more. Have a look at the site to find out more!

HECS
This site is part of the ATO assist site and provides comprehensive up-to-date information on all aspects of the Higher Education Contribution Scheme for students, graduates, employers and teachers.
