Writing activities: Pressures on the individual

Respond to the questions below. Write approximately 300 words in Arabic for each.

You will be assessed on how well you:

1. “Society continues to pressure women into their traditional role as housewives.”  Write an article for a newspaper on this topic.

   ".ما زالَ المُجتَمَعُ يَفرِضُ عَلى المَرأَةِ الدَّورَ التَّقليدي كَرَبَّةِ مَنزِلٍ"

2. “We must follow the rules whether we agree with them or not.” Write the script of a blog that you would post for an online youth discussion forum.

   ".عَلى الفَردِ الخُضوع لِلْقَوانين العامَّة سَواء إِتَّفَقَ مَعَها أَم لا"

   .أُكتُب نَصَّ المُدَوَّنَة الَّتي سَتَنشُرُها في مُنتَدى الشَّبابِ تُناقِشُ فيها هذا المَوضوع

3. “Modern life is dominated by fear. ”Write the text of the speech which you will present to your school assembly on this topic.

   ".يُهَيْمِنُ الخَوفُ عَلى حَياتِنا المُعاصِرَة"
