Sameh's accident impacted negatively on Abeer. She had to take some time off work to be with him and nurse him. Abeer also missed out on her trip with her friends.
Task 2
Compare the two opinions presented in the text. Give details.
Samer supports the new trend of Arabic music whilst Abeer believes that they destroy the image of Arabic music. Samer believes that this type of music is very much suited to the era we are living in and that it is inspiring and cheerful music which makes you happy at all times. On the other hand, Abeer thinks that such songs are nonsense and are alien to our culture and tradition and usually the music is not Arabic, but western, which in turn does alot of harm to the identity of Arabic music.
